ToneCheck ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Message text: Sent to our server solely to perform tone analysis. We do not log, store, or retain the content of any messages.
• Device identifier: An anonymous UUID stored in your device's Keychain, used only to enforce the free usage limit. It is never linked to your identity.
• Subscription status: Managed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We do not store payment or billing information.

What We Don't Collect

• Name, email, or any personal identity
• Location data
• Message history or logs
• Any third-party analytics or advertising data

Third-Party Services

Tone analysis is powered by AI models via OpenRouter. Message text is transmitted to their API for processing and is subject to their privacy policy. We use Cloudflare Workers for our backend infrastructure.

Children's Privacy

ToneCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
